An update on my sister Bonnie and brother Bobs conditions: Bonnie had a meeting on Friday Jan. 2 at her managed care facility with my family, her doctor (oncologist) and nurses, and it was decided that today, Monday, January 5, 2015, that she would move into hospice care. Today she is moving to a new place. They said she cant go home, since there is no one there to take care of her, and she really needs 24-7 around the clock nursing care. A week ago the doctor (oncologist) had her moved from her private room to a double with an elderly Chinese woman, and that made her very upset. I believe the doctor did that to encourage her to go into hospice care, where she will have better managed care in a private room at a different facility. This means that she is definitely terminal and the doctor and nurses know she doesnt have much time left. They also raised her dosage of morphine to handle her abdominal pain. She has large tumors in her liver and kidneys. Bob had a doctor appointment this morning, Monday, January 5th, for another exam, to discuss what his options are for his managed care, and surgery. Today the doctor will decide if he is to have surgery this week to see if they can restore his bodily functions which were disrupted by his enlarged prostate gland. Please pray for them. Both of them are on the critical list. Thank you.
