An update on the elderly lady we have been helping today: A portaloo is being delivered tomorrow from CCC, funded by the Mayoral Welfare Fund; thanks to staff and Vicki Buck (sick with the flu in bed!) for helping here. This is what the elderly lady has requested and would prefer. Thank you though everyone who offered one. EQR are doing everything they can to make this right. We are looking forward not backwards, and lets get it sorted. I will go round tomorrow to help her when the EQR team come - they are good guys and I am totally confident they will get this done and done well. Planning to sort the logburner tomorrow too. She told me it gets down to -6 in her living room. Suzy Jamieson Lallemont gave me her own home microwave and said this lady could have it. Thank you Suzie, you are amazing. Microwave delivered, plugged in, quick lesson and a supermarket spag bol heated up for her. So, tomorrow is another day and I am confident we get this sorted.
