An updated CF Foundation (US) Infection Prevention and Control Guideline for people with CF, their families and health care professionals was published in the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America’s Infection Control & Hospital Epidemiology journal and endorsed by CF Canada’s Healthcare Advisory Council in July 2014. The CF Foundation has released new health education materials to reduce the risk of people with cystic fibrosis getting and spreading dangerous germs that can lead to serious lung infections.
