Ana D. San Diego, CA 5/26/2014 Dont let negative reviews dissuade you from La Voila, it is a wonderful deal! I booked a Couples Swedish Massage at La Voila and couldnt have been more satisfied. I appreciated that Dominique offers a questionnaire where you can request the intensity of your massage (light, medium, firm) as well as any problem areas you would like to work on. I have tension in my shoulders and neck and Dominiques assistant spent time specifically releasing tension in those areas, which was above and beyond what I expected from a standard Swedish massage. The day of my appointment happened to be my birthday and Dominique lit a candle and sang happy birthday to me with my boyfriend which was very nice. Before I visited I was wary as I had read previous negative reviews, but I noticed they seemed to be from people who were angry to receive a penalty after failing to show up to their appointment. Providing advance notice before canceling is a common courtesy so I am surprised that there are people who are angry about being penalized for canceling an appointment with no notice. As a client you are also informed about the cancellation policy immediately after booking an appointment, so its not as if its a secret. La Voila provides great and affordably priced massages and I strongly recommend her!
