Anais Nin said, Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we dont know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishing. I agree with Anais to a greater extent. Love is the glue designed to bond souls, mankind, to heal, give life and, hope. But, how can we know how to nurture Love when we choose not to embrace it, but embrace Hate instead? Here: Do we not remember Love, the meaning and benefits of it, the core of it: When a man kills his wife, or wife, her husband, each forgetting their vows to love & cherish...; When a child decides to take the life of a parent or both just because; When we hate on each other (filled with jealousy, spite, greed, deceit, we gossip, bullying, lie…); When a sibling commits incest; When spouses cheat on each other; When religion has become a game without regards for human life; When a mother takes the life of the child she bore for reasons clearly of intentional insanity; When an Officer of the law decides to be the enemy of the law and takes lives in broad daylight with boldness; When Man hunts Man like wild animals; When we do all those things that continue to break the Heart of God…Do we not remember Love? Now, imagine how Love feels; Broken, but not not dead. Love never dies, never. Why? Because God is Love. ~ Nkem DenChukwu
