Anambra gov: Again, court compels PDP, INEC to recognise Ubah Tribune A Federal High Court in Port-Harcourt has again, ordered the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to recognise the Ejike Oguebego-led executive in Anambra State, pending the determination of the substantive suit. The Oguebego executive council of the party produced Senator Andy Uba as standard-bearer in the forthcoming governorship election in that state. Presiding judge, Justice Hyeladzira Ngajiwa, while giving the ruling on the interlocutory injunction, noticed said there was a pending order issued by a court on the May 31, 2013, this year in Awka, Anambra State, ordering the parties to maintain status quo, which was yet to be vacated or appealed.
