Anarchy is a utopian ideal. Itll never work. One of the biggest cop out arguments I think Ive ever heard in my life. Self-governance is utopian and idealist, yet somehow, giving the authority to small, centralized groups of people to govern the rest makes total logical sense? Government will regulate itself and adhere to the conditions of the constitution is the logical equivalent of saying that a mass murderering psychopath whom youve taken out a restraining order against will regulate him/herself in accordance to that restraining order, yet he/she is the one who upholds that restraining order, and will investigate him/herself for any alleged transgressions or violations of that order. Im inclined to believe that if you think individual regulation and responsibility is absurd and idealistic, but giving authority to a small group of individuals and impunity for their actions is not, you might be a total moron.
