Anas Al Suleiman The Difference Between Shia and Sunni Muslims CLASHES between Islams two big sects, the Sunni and the Shia, take place across the Muslim world. In the Middle East a potent mix of religion and politics has sharpened the divide between Iran’s Shia government and the Gulf states, which have Sunni governments. The argument between the SUNNI and SHIA Muslims dates back to the death of Muhammad The Islam’s founder in 632. The tribal Arabs who followed him were split over who should inherit what was both a political and a religious office. The Sunnis are so named because they believe themselves to follow the sunnah or custom of the Prophet. Shiites are those Muslims who followed Ali, the closest relative of Muhammad, as Muhammads successor. SUNNI MUSLIM: (1) Sunni believe that Muhammad was Poisoned to Death by a Jewess Lady. (2) Sunni believe that the True successor of Muhammad was Abu Bakr, father of Muhammads favoured wife, Aisha (elected by people of Medina). (3) The Sunni Qualifications for ruler of Islam are The tribe of Muhammad (Quraysh); later, any qualified ruler. (4) Sunni Current leaders are The Imams (5) Sunni Identity of imams as human leaders (6) Sunni believe that The Islamic Messiah Imam Al-Mehdi will come in the future. (7) Sunni Religious authority other than the Quran are The ijma (consensus) of the Muslim community (8) Sunni Concealing faith for self-protection ( TAQIYYA aka Deception) affirmed under certain circumstances (9) Sunni Believe that the Islamic Temporary Marriage (mutah aka Prostitution ) was practiced in Muhammads time, but now rejected. (10) Sunni Holy cities are Mecca, Medina, Jerusalem. (11) Sunni Major holidays are The Eid al-Adha, Eid al-Fitr. (12) Sunni believe that JIHAD (Terror) is limitless and boundless Jihad, JIHAD is daily activities according to SUNNA and thats why Sunni has big population than the Shia because they never stopped conquering Countries. (13) Sunni believe that the Shias are FAKE Muslims and should not exist. (14) Sunni believe that the Shias Muslim understanding of Islam is Fabricated. ------ SHIA MUSLIM: (1) Shia believe that Muhammad s death was conspired by Aisha The wife of Muhammad and her father Abu Bakr in order for Abu Bakr to Inherit Muhammads Position since Muhammad had no Son to succeed him. (2)Shia believe that the True successor of Muhammad was Ali ibn Abi Talib, husband of Muhammads daughter Fatimah (designated by Muhammad) (3) The Shia Qualifications for ruler of Islam are family of the Muhammad. (4) Shia Current leaders are Mujtahids. (5) Shia Identity of infallible manifestations of Allah and interpreters of the Quran. (6) Shia believe that the Islamic Messiah the Imam Al-Mehdi is already on earth, is currently the hidden imam who works through mujtahids to intepret Quran; and will return at the end of time. (7) Shia Religious authority other than the Quran are the infallible imams (8) Shia Concealing faith for self-protection ( TAQIYYA aka Deception) emphasized. (9) Shia Believe that the Islamic Temporary marriage (mutah aka Prostitution ) still practiced because it was not abolished by Muhammad himself. (10) Shia Holy cities are Mecca, Medina, Jerusalem, Najaf, Karbala (11) Shia Major holidays are Eid al-Adha, Eid al-Fitr, Ashura (12) Shia believe that JIHAD (Terror) is necessary when they have the power to attack, these is the reason why Shia doesnt have much territories. (13) Shia believe that Sunni are FAKE Muslims and should not exist. (14) Shia believe that the Sunni Muslim understanding of Islam is Fabricated.
