Anas (radiAllaahu anhu) narrates that the Prophet ﷺ said, “None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind.” [Bukhari] If you love the Prophet ﷺ, youll love what he loves, and the Prophet ﷺ loved what Allaah loves. And if you love something, you remain close to it. So, how many of us remain close to the Quran and Sunnah, how many of us forbid evil and enjoin the good? How many of us pray every Salaah? How many of us wear the Hijaab? How many of us stop to help someone in need? How many of us ignore the pain of the Ummah? How many of us lie? How many of us follow Tawheed and act upon it? Lets ponder and reflect and see where we fall short. We all have blemishes. But those who ignore those blemishes are indeed foolish. You cannot have eemaan until you love the Prophet ﷺ more than you love your family and children, which will only happen once you love what he loved and hate what displeased him.
