Anastasia came home kind of bummy looking (if you know her you know thats not her usual self) she said she had a headache but something said there was more to it...she confessed that shes sick of being teased (bullied really) about her liking/dating/going out with) her boyfriend Gabe. Now before I get rumbles from the uncles they havent gone on a real date. Anyway, some of her friends have yalem it upon themselves to point out to Anastasia that Gabe is a nerd, goofy looking/not cute, & her favorite weird one girl in particular has even said these things to her will Gabe is sitting beside her at lunch. She said today that she knows he hears them but he doesnt say anything! She feels badly for Gabe because she likes him! He makes me laugh, he laughs at me, I like that hes smart...hes making me wanna be smarter too, were just really good friends! So, today was her last straw that same girl talked crap about Gabe again, even pointing out other guys I should like, which totally embarrassed her, and made her angry! So angry she didnt speak to this girl the rest of the day. While she was explaining this to me that same girl sent Anastasia a text message asking if she was pissed at her...Anastasia looked at me and said.Ive had it! This is the text she sent back...I am so proud of her: You keep talking negatively about Gabe and I dont like it. You even do it in front of him which isnt nice. He is a friend of mine, just like you are and I dont, wont tolerate my friends talking crap about one another especially in front of them. Whether I like him or not is no ones business but mine. Hes not gross and ugly to me just like you arent ugly and gross. Im tired of people telling me who I should or shouldnt like. If you were my friend you wouldnt act like this to me. THE GIRL REPLIED BACK: Ok I wolt and I dont mean It Anna and u know that Gabe I a nice and a sweet person Anastasia: What do mean you wont and dont mean it? The words came out if your mouth didnt they...so why keep saying it if you dont mean it...thats stupid! Youre the one pointing out other guys for me to like...but I guess that wasnt you either huh? If you are going to say you were just kidding dont bother...I dont believe you because you say things about Gabe and I all the time. It is annoying & frustrating and Ive had it! THE GIRL: Anna I dont want to get in a fight with u OK Anastasia: Its not a fight (GIRLS NAME). Its about u understanding Ive had enough and stopping it...Please! She had to go off to cheer practice so that was the end. In the car she asked me what I thought about all of this and I said it sounds like you stood up for a friend that means a lot to you and Im very proud of you...yea, tomorrow should be interesting she said lol
