Ancelotti: ‘Pippo’s enthusiasm key’ Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti says its ‘a nice feeling’ to play against Milan and to find a colleague in his former player Filippo Inzaghi. Ancelotti boasts a prestigious history with the Rossoneri, having won two Champions League trophies and one Scudetto as their Coach. Ahead of tomorrow’s friendly game between his former side and Los Blancos, he reveals that he walks into the match with positive sentiments. “Having Inzaghi as a colleague is a nice feeling, and so is playing against Milan,” the Italian Coach commented in an interview with Sky Sports. “I expected him to become a Coach. He has a lot of enthusiasm and thats essential to coach a team. “I give him advice and we talk about many things. “The Rossoneri must nurture the objective of returning to the Champions League, though compared to when I was with them, everything has changed. “There used to be investors that are no longer there. “These are cycles, it will take patience to see Italian football flying high again. “ Juventus lack the experience to reach the top, because the historic core that led them to win the Scudetto still lacks the necessary individualities.” Milan are swapping Fernando Torres for Alessio Cerci with Atletico Madrid, and the Champions League specialist gave his opinion about both players, along with a thought on his own pupil Cristiano Ronaldo. “Torres never had the time to find himself. Then the opportunity came to go back home and now hell be able to reboot his game in the best possible way. “Cerci landed in a team that did a fantastic job last year and that was difficult to change, thats why he had trouble. “As for Ronaldo, he deserves the Ballon dOr because hes been the best. It would be paradoxical to see him lose.” Ancelotti is himself a candidate for the prize of best Coach, but he made no definitive statements on the subject. “Its something that can be discussed, the other two candidates [Atletico Madrids Diego Simeone and Germanys Joachim Low] also did very well. “Im not in a hurry about renewing my contract, because both parties want the same thing. I had a nice experience, but now Im happy where I am.”
