Anchorman 2 - 7.5/10 After seeing this at the cinema near Christmas last year I decided to review this after the DVD release. Will Ferrell returns as legendary Anchorman Ron Burgundy alongside his former channel 4 news team Brick Tampland {Steve Carrell}, Champ Kind {David Keshner}, and Brian Fantana {Paul Rudd}. Fans of the original will thoroughly enjoy this as its more of the same but with slightly different scenarios. This film takes place in the 80s where Ron is approached by GNN to be a part of a new never before done 24 hour news station, he agrees and reunites with his former team and like the last film, they face competition for the number one spot from a rival team with their lead played by James Marsden who is funny in the role, but not in the film long enough. The one liners in this film are just as good as the original and is sure to have you quoting them for months! Brick undeniably steals the film as every scene with him in is hilarious, even including a love interest who is basically the female version of Brick which makes for some awkward but funny exchanges. While a lot of the scenes from the first film are slightly altered in this sequel it still manages to be entertaining and never boring. Will Ferrell fans will love this and after 9 years away Ron Burgundy is back and as good as he ever was!
