Ancient calculus has uncovered many mysteries and heres one more! Archaeologists and geneticists have been pondering the question of when humans began drinking milk in ancient times. Now a breakthrough by an international team, reported in the journal Scientific Reports, provides the first direct evidence of milk drinking from an increasingly important archaeological reservoir -- human dental calculus.
