And ANOTHER amazing review on tripadvsior: “Absolutely life-changing...A MUST DO! Reviewed 14 April 2014 We did thetrip to the Similan and Surin Islands with Wicked and what an unforgettable, life-changing experience the whole trip was. It was our first live aboard and we were relative novices to diving having only about 10 dives under our belt so I was a little apprehensive but there was truly nothing to worry about! The boat is a well-oiled machine, everything from gearing up to meals and dive briefings running perfectly and timed to perfection. The staff are absolutely legendary to say the least, from offering advice and pairing groups to hunting out the incredible diversity of sea life under water and explaining them to us back on back... I have to say that my partner still RAVES about his dive leader, Christa, and is seriously planning a dive trip with Wicked in Komodo if she is there. Arguments then ensue as I had Claire (the smiling Canadian with an obsession with nudis and triggerfish) and Deow (the hilarious local whose night dive costume has me in stitches and who was the best photographer ever for our group)....Though in all honestly anyone you get on board is going to be amazing, its just what WICKED does. The boat was spacious, clean and well air-conditioned....You will not find better at this price, and the food is some of the best I had in Thailand. On top of all this their ethics towards social responsibility and environment were truly inspirational, and not just for looks as you find with many operators (both diving and non-diving) .. kudos Wicked, I would recommend you to anyone and will be back again for sure! PS While their if no guarantee of the big sightings (Spotty friends and Sea-Panda as we came to know them), the crew did everything they could to maximize our chances and were as excited as we were! We did manage to see one Whale Shark (https://youtube/watch?v=aevfdBMvFZM) , truly the most humbling experience of my life, and to anyone that does it please go to whaleshark.org to help marine biologists to collect and analyze whale shark sighting data to learn more about these amazing creatures. My encounter was approved as a first encounter and names T-140 :)
