And Cowboy Bebop ends with episode 26 (The Real Folk Blues Pt. II). Bang. Yeah, that story pretty much ended the only way it possibly could have. The entire show - the main motif and the central struggle of every main character - stems from what it means to be here as opposed to being in the past. Is the here and now merely a continuation of the past? Is it an improvement? A step down? Can we escape the past? Should we escape the past? The issue is commendably addressed from every angle. I could totally gush about this show - and it is only second behind Samurai Jack as the greatest television show Ive personally seen so far - but Id be doing it a disservice. It really does need to be experienced. Til next time... SEE YOU SPACE COWBOY
