“And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.” Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying, 3 “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. 4 And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.”5 So he went and did according to the word of the LORD, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. 6 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook.( I kings 17:1-6) Good morning beloved, our focal scripture for this month’ theme (JUNE- MONTH OF ALL SUFFICIENCY) is taken from the book of 1 Kings 17. Here we see how Elijah the Prophet proclaims a drought in the land of Israel and how God honoured his word and locked up the door of rain that the rain ceased to fall on the land thereby causing great famine in the land. However, the prophet was well taken care of even in the midst of famine. -I prophecy into somebody’s life this day that no matter the situation of the economy of the land you found yourself the LORD shall hid you in his pavilion of mercy and make you an exceptional blessing . -You shall not go hungry nor thirsty of any good thing; the LORD shall satisfy with good things you desire. -Jehovah Jireh-The great supplier shall make provision for your needs both physically and spiritually this season; you shall not be put to shame. -As the LORD gave a command to ravens to feed Elijah by the Brook Cherith, so shall the LORD lead you to where you will be favored and raise you people that will provide for your needs till you live in abundance. Be expectant, this month is loaded for your benefits and I pray you shall work in the sufficiency of God in Jesus’ mighty name.
