And I suppose Blounts 148 yards rushing and 3 touch downs were the result of carrying a lighter ball. According to the NFL rulebook, the home team sends 12 official game balls to the referees to be tested two hours and 15 minutes before the game starts. The balls then remain under a referees supervision until they are delivered to a ball attendant just before kickoff. That right there tells me that the refs are the last to touch the footballs before the start of the game. If anyone tampered with them during the game or before, wouldnt that be on the refs? Also, why the hell are they weighing a football, that has been in play during a rainstorm, the water logged ball wouldnt match the weight they were looking for, wouldnt you use a pressure gauge to get the correct psi? And if a water soaked ball was under inflated wouldnt that be obvious to everyone in the area of that ball without even having to touch the ball? Not to mention wouldnt it be obvious to the refs who pick it up, put it down and throw it to one another? Oh and wasnt it pretty cold outside as well? Does anyone know what happens to their vehicles tire pressure when its cold out, (Ill help you, it drops), so wouldnt that be the same for the psi of a football with less surface area than a tire? Oh yeah another thing, im supposed to believe that a league that spent no effort or time to investigate ray rice beating the shit out of his wife until video became available on the Internet to everyone, is putting in considerable time and effort to investigate deflated footballs?? Come on now haters, you gotta come up with something better than this. I guess everyone who cant use logic goes by; If you cant beat the patriots, just try and tarnish their name. Oh and Ill add we beat the shit out of them after the balls were discovered. Get real
