Now you get to learn six things about me. 1) I met my husband online in a chat room. 2) I dont like doctors or medical professionals, as a rule; God thought it would be fun to let my husband go into Nursing as a result of this dislike. ;-) 3) My most prized Duran Duran possessions are my two copies of Neil Gaimans 1984 biography about the band (Neils first book), which are signed by Neil himself and also signed by the four current members of the band. Ive garnered all of these signatures since meeting Neil in Lexington, KY in mid-July. I got Johns signature in Edinburgh, Scotland in mid-August. And then was fortunate enough to get Nicks, Simons, and Rogers signatures in NYC on 4 November. (Watch out, Andy Taylor! Im on the hunt, Im after YOU! But NOT in a stalkerish kind of way, honest! *smiles*) 4) Im terrified of strong winds (like the tornadic kind), but LOVE thunder storms and think they are one of the most truly AWESOME forces of nature in existence. 5) When I was a little kid (like before I started school), I wanted to be Batman. But Ive wanted to be a real writer since I was in 4th grade and wrote my first poem -- which was about Snoopy. 6) Ive only been texting for a couple of months and dont always even think about it as a method of communication. So if you text me and I dont answer back, keep trying; chances are, I either didnt see the text come in or just didnt pay attention.
