“And Jesus said, you seek me not because you saw the miracles, but because you did eat of the loaves, and were filled.” (John 6:26) Isn’t it interesting how people can love your gift but could care less about you? Some people might like you because of your talent or ability but secretly despise you because of your success or the favor that is upon you. Then there are others who enjoy the perks of being around you without ever truly embracing who you are. Just as Jesus did in this story, you have to be able to differentiate between the people who genuinely celebrate you from those who simply tolerate you because you serve their interests.
