“And Saul said unto his servants, provide me now a man that can play well, and bring him to me. Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD is with him.” 1 SAMUEL 16: 17-18. Most at times we seem to be too much comfortable with what we have s learned or acquired at a point in time. We are always using the themes, “I have learned a lot” and “its time for me to be independent”. Now in chapter 17, King Saul asked for only ONE QUALITY of a man. That is, someone who can PLAY WELL. But how many qualities did the servant gave about David? Six Great Qualities. Though it is true that Specialization is good but “a good specialist is someone who knows much of his area of jurisdiction and a bit of whatever is around him”. God indeed gave everybody a gift of the Holy Spirit, but the others also exist so that we can use them to shape the MAIN gift God gave us. Brethren, Brand yourself in a way where you will be approach due to your MULTI QUALITIES not a SINGLE QUALITY. Stay bless.
