And THAT my friends is a wrap on an amazing time as what I hope to be the first of many Goomy/CJ One-on-One sleepover!! This was a totally spontaneous event so after dinner we ran out for a bit to get him some jammies and one item we need for our craft project. After a great deal of discussion over Christmas vs Spiderman PJs, we finally both agreed to the Christmas ones with Cookie Monster and Elmo. Now you cant get Cookie Monster jammies and not get cookies - thats a FACT Jack! (Just ask little man! LOL). Add the chocolate shake Ninja Turtle chapstick and Goomy got extra hugs and kisses! Bath time was an absolute hoot watching a toddler and a puppy trying to one-up each other in cuteness! (Though the bath rug took one in its own right when half the bath water ended up all over the floor!). After a final snack of a cookie and some milk, I clean the kitchen and head to the living room to find both precious little ones looking like they belong on a Hallmark card this Christmas the way they are cuddled up together, sound asleep and likely dreaming of what shenanigans they can create first thing in the morning. CJ did famously minus the brief moment just before our cookie snack where he sat silently on the sofa with tears welling up in his eyes. When I asked him what was wrong, he answered: Dandon, Momma, Nanas house? to which I nearly cried too. That was his one moment of missing home but it too was priceless! I just adore this child and look forward to the next time!! Ni Ni precious! Goomy loves you!!
