And a head up about travel into Troutdale, TTD: Runway 7-25 and Taxiway A will be closed from 9:30pm Friday, August 22nd through 6am, Monday August 25th. This will be a hard closure without the ability to reopen. A NOTAM for this closure will be issued closer to the event. This work is weather dependent and may be delayed until the weekend of September 12-15th. Contractors will be removing runway markings, sealing asphalt and restriping per the new threshold location. Electricians will relocate threshold lights and the REILs for Runway 25 will be decommissioned. All cracks on Taxiway A and the runway will be routered, cleaned and sealed. Meanwhile, our own Airport Maintenance staff will be repainting the white and yellow pavement markings. Taxiway B will remain open and available for helicopter training as well as the Charlie helicopter pad on the north side of the airport. Additional closures of the runway and Taxiway A will be necessary to fully complete this work but all efforts will be made to minimize impacts to daytime operations.
