And a year later I had trouble with the Cops AGAIN!! My friend Brigitte was visiting me and we were just returning from a drive to Kaapsehoop, where we went to see the Wild Horses. It was late afternoon, a dark, rainy day, basically a time when cars should have their headlights on. As we got to a stop street on Sheba Road (One of the main roads in Barberton), a cop van came out from a side street. I almost didnt see him, he had no lights on! At the next stop, I motioned to him that his lights are off, thinking he may have forgotten. But instead of thanking me for the reminder, he slid his finger across his throat, like Im gonna kill you kind of motion. I thought what a dick and showed him the finger... oooooh, big mistake! We turned off into our road and saw that he followed, so instead of going back to my Guesthouse & Pub, I drove around a few blocks... and he kept following. Now my Pajero is a very old, slow donkey, so out-running him would not have worked. So stupidly we decided to go to the police station. I thought that if he sees what our intentions are, hell back off and leave. But as we got there, Brigitte and I decided, nah lets just go. We were sure he would just pull into the police parking and leave it at that. So instead of parking, we drove past. Next thing this guy races to over-take us and at the next corner he cut us off... What a dumb move, on a wet road he parks his car sideways across the front of mine!!! But I managed to go left into the other road and decided to go to the Police after all, to lay a charge of reckless driving against this cop. But as soon as we arrived there, he was already behind us. Once again the lazy lot at the front desk refused to help us, they just looked the other way, but in the meantime this nasty cop started pushing me around, once again trying to get me to go to the back. But I held onto the door frame and refused to go, he had no grounds to take me anywhere!! At one point he hit my chest, thereby putting his filthy hands on my breast, that made me mad and I told him NOT TO TOUCH ME AGAIN!! But he continued, and at one point Brigitte put her hand against him to keep him from pushing me again. So he then turned to her and told her he will have her arrested for assault! He also told her that she is not allowed to take pics in the Police Station and tried to take her phone. Luckily we had a gap to call for help, and a while later Mario and some of our friends from the Pub arrived. Since he was now outnumbered, he finally just gave up and we left. Again we had to go back on Monday morning to speak to the Station Commander so that he could get someone to take down our statement and lay a charge. And once again the paperwork went missing and I have never heard another thing! I dont even know the names, as no one was willing to divulge this info! And thats how they get away with whatever they want!
