If you are noticing your premium increasing, then you can thank all the people sitting in their offices not giving a Flying F*****!!! Just to let you know why your beer or rum is increasing in price is because the insurance companies in Australia are now refusing to insure North QLD, and in particular small businesses........ Our insurance premium is now in excess of $30,000 per year. Yes, thats correct. thats not too many zeros, thats just how it is.... AND the excess to insure for Cyclone is $50,000......yes again, not too many zeros!!! Seriously???? We have been here 8 years and put in ONE claim. Thank you YASI. Otherwise we have worn the blown up TVs, air con, and cool rooms... Anyone want to buy a Hotel.....? Didnt think so. I wouldnt want to pay this either....
