And again, the Tampa Bay Rays find another way to lose a game (not to mention the umps had some part in that). Rays were up 5-3 then Joel Peralta comes in to pitch and gets a bases loaded situation then Joe Maddon gives way to Jake McGee. McGee works with one out with a tough situation and manages to strike out the first batter, walks the next one forcing home a run, then Vernon Wells comes in to pinch hit and comes through with a bases clearing double making it 7-5 and that would be the final score. This day got ruined even more because Evan Longoria had a home run and Wil Myers hits his first career home run (which was a grand slam) that made it 5-3. Our pitching is still not coming together (with the exception of Alex Torres) and they could of won this game had it not been for the walks, errors on defense, and giving the Yankees too many chances to score. Another devastating lose and with the Blue Jays winning again, it is getting even more tighter in the division. Final four game series tomorrow afternoon against the Yankees with Chris Archer getting the call facing Ivan Nova.
