And at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: - TopicsExpress

And at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.(Acts 16 vs 25). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today. When Paul and Silas were thrown into prison, they didnt sit back, waiting to be released at the instance of the rulers. They arose in the midnight hour, and they prayed unto God. Psalms 30 vs 5b says: ...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning ; but for Paul and Silas, they didnt wait for their release to happen in the morning; they made their release happen in the midnight hour through prayers. Paul and Silas didnt wait for the wishes of their adversaries to run its full course; they interrupted the plans of their adversaries through the weapon of prayer in the midnight. Prayer became the strategy that scuttled the wishes of the enemy. Friend, hear Gods Counsel: Prayer will alter every plan of the enemy against you this year. Prayer will throw spanners in the works of the enemy. Prayer will make the wishes of your adversaries to collapse like a pack of cards. Prayer will alter the course of negativity in your destiny. You may have known what it means to pray when everyone is awake, but its time to wake up in the night and pray. Dont joke with midnight prayers. Most decisions that affect mankind are taken in the spiritual realm at night. He that prays in the night, controls his day. Arise in Prayers and you will interrupt the enemy! Pray with me,Lord, give me more passion for prayer this year and beyond in Jesus name. Follow on Twitter @jerrystreams Have a Blessed Tuesday!
