And be patient for the sake of your Lord (i.e. perform your duty to Allah)! This verse in Quran (74:7) is so touching especially when you reflect on the beginning of Revelation in Mecca and how Rassulullah, Salallahu Alayhi Salaam endured rejection from his people, his very own family, people who used to love him and call him Al Amin (trustworthy) were now calling him crazy, magician, poet.... Why? Just because he was calling them to Allah.. So Allah SWT asked him to endure for Allah and still perform his duty. May we also be patient and endure for the One who created us and to whom will be our return. Ameen!
