And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind . . . (Romans 1:28) They DID NOT LIKE TO RETAIN GOD IN THEIR KNOWLEDGE . . . some preferred not to think about God . . . some liked to pretend He did not exist . . . THIS is where it begins. . . . when they knew God, they GLORIFIED [HIM] NOT as God, NEITHER WERE THANKFUL; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (Romans 1:21) . . . who BELIEVED NOT THE TRUTH, but had PLEASURE IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. (2 Thessalonians 2:12) . . . lest any of you be HARDENED THROUGH THE DECEITFULNESS OF SIN. (Hebrews 3:13) . . . So He gave them over to a reprobate mind, and they surrendered themselves to every kind of evil. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them (Romans 1:32) They spit in Gods face, and validated others in their open rebellion. Be very careful. Sin starts in the heart, and in the mind. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with THANKSGIVING let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, SHALL KEEP YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
