And fifty of the sons of the Prophet went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan.(2 Kings 2 vs 7). That is the Focal e of Streams of Joy Devotional Today. When Elijah and Elisha arrived at the brink of Jordan, there were fifty sons of the Prophet who stood to view them from a distance. These prophets-in-training became observers and watched as Elijah and Elisha made their journey beyond the Jordan. They observed every step taken by Elijah and Elisha. They had a chance to see whatever happened in the Journey. If the journey became a success or failure, they were there to see it.Just like Elisha and Elijah had observers, we all have observers in destiny. There are those who are watching to see us fail in destiny. Others are eagerly expecting to hear our success stories. Sometimes, our observers watch us from a distance, waiting to give us our next big opportunity if we live up to expectations. Someone, somewhere, somehow is watching your actions and your every move - BE CAREFUL!Friend, hear Gods warning to you: As you run your race in destiny,be watchful, because some people are watching to see you fail, others are watching to see you succeed.Remain consistent and focused in your assignment. Set examples you would be proud of,and examples that God himself will be proud of. Do things you can defend when you are called to give account . Dont live in guilty pleasures that will become embarrassing headlines in the future.Note this: there are observers waiting to speak for you or against you on account of how you live your life on a daily basis. There are opportunities you may gain or lose on account of observations that are made concerning you with or without your knowledge.More importantly,God is watching you. Dont disappoint God. Live like one who is being watched!Pray with me,Lord, help me to live like one who is being observed, may my life not embarrass you in Jesus name. Have a Splendid Tuesday!
