I repost it here because I would regret it if it were to get lost in the sea of comments...: You mentioned the magical wand classic move, which we would interpret as condition/distinction framing in RFT (IF _____(source of EA) was NOT there, THEN what would your life be about?). There is a bunch of moves like that we talked about in the workshop on meaning and motivation I referenced in the file When positive reinforcement causes problems. I would like to explore this topic further in this group in the coming days/weeks.
