And heres a pic of the splendid On The Beat which is up for sale - had a peruse there yesterday, my first visit for about 10 years. Used to nip in there if ever on duty with Virgin at the Mega in Oxford St as it was round the back in Hanway Street. The street is still the same - stinks of old tramps piss and riddled with scaffolding on one side and sleeping bags on the other. Id still buy this shop if I had 300k though - a goldmine and treasure trove.... picked up a classic Melody Maker for £7, just for the Pistols cover ... and some records....
