This new Minister for Health has stoked up the debate again, without waiting for the findings from his expert group in September and we want to know why. We’ve contacted all the national newspapers for Monday, RTE, TV3, national radio and written to head of the Joint Oireachtas Committee for Health & Children. We will continue with regional media next week, giving them a county by county breakdown of the number of families we have supported since 1997 and why this is a local and a national issue. We ask those living in Minister Varadkar’s constituency to email him on as a matter of urgency on [email protected] to highlight our campaign for automatic medical cards for children with life limiting conditions in their own right, in their own name.
