And how did we live here BEFORE there was electricity and wires all over? Off-Grid should always be a choice, as long as they/ we arent living in squalor and unsanitary conditions. Even the homeless should be provided with porta-potties and some clean water to take back with them. We have been bamboozled for far too long, and must stop making the utilities rich by having laws saying we must use them. Thats ridiculous!!! If there is any protest / march / petition to give us back our power (shouldnt even HAVE to do that!) I will certainly join up! I think its a wonderful idea to live off-grid if we choose to!! The amount of money and power the utilities have over us all is almost all pervasive! They should never have that much say over who gets utilities, and make everyone pay for them on top of it! Dont get me started....
