And now a Tech Tip from grego. Ever get aggravated by FTP software? Too many bells and whistles? Want to cut to the chase and just drag and drop? Not a lot of people know this so I thought I would share. You can actually FTP directly from Windows Explorer without using any software. 1. Go to Start --> (My) Computer. 2. In the left panel, right click Computer and select Add Network Location to launch the wizard. 3. Next. 4. Click to highlight Choose a custom network location and click Next. 5. Enter your ftp URL such as ftp://ftp.mydomain/ and click Next. 6. Uncheck (deselect) Log on anonymously and enter your username (such as accountlogin@mydomain) and click Next. 7. Enter a name for the network location (such as MySite or FileDump) and click Next. 8. Click Finish. 9. When prompted, enter your username and password and click Log On. 10. Drag and drop like normal Windows.
