Dam: Megara #0200 (1960-1977), born in the wild, died at the Cincinnati Zoo of a Viral Infection and Pneumonia. Offspring: Total of 1, deceased Unnamed Baby #8278 (Female) (March 28, 2014), born and died at the Jacksonville Zoo of Birth Trauma. Siblings: Total of 10, all Half Siblings His brothers include Sam (Half) (1970-2000), Mkubwa (Half) (1978-1979), and sisters Kamari (Half) (1971-2007), Amani (Half) (1973- ), Mata Hari (Half) (1974- ), Alice (Half) (1979-1979), Unnamed Baby (Half) (May 24, 1980), Madge (Half) (1981- ), Kweli (Half) (1983- ), and Kimba Kumba (Half) (1986-1989). Lash resided at the Cincinnati Zoo from the time of his birth until March 27, 1986, at which time he transfered to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. He lived there until June 2, 1992 at which time he moved to Tampas Busch Gardens and he lived there until February 5, 1998, when he transfered to the Jacksonville Zoo. Lash lives there with three other gorillas including Rumpleskin, Bulera and Madini Thamini.
