And now the Gichangi saga,it is not Gichangi who is the problem,its the entire Kenyan culture,save for a few people who are genuinely religious,people who use their religious beliefs to uphold their integrity in their work.The Kenyan culture of every man for himself and God for us all is the one to blame.A politician,no matter how learned,will become a psychopant of his boss to boost his political career,a director of NSIS will spend 80 percent of his time caring for the government of the day,than minding about security at the border points,reason,he want to secure his job,an immigration officer will allow Chinedu and even the "white widow" in Kenya,because he wants quick cash,a policeman will not stop a Prado carrying a cache of arms,because that is a special type of car,it belongs to special people.A doctor who earns both emergency call and extrenious allowances will go to the hospital for just a single week in a month,the rest of the time,he is doing a locum,you go to a public primary school,50 percent of the teachers are not likely to be in at any one time.A judge handling a high profile case,will drag it for years,at least to make people forget about it............the list is endless.Until the day when Kenyans will learn to integrate their Religious faith with their performance of duties,they learn to uphold their integrity to the highest standards,even if you make Obama our NSIS boss,all these things are bound to happen.
