And now, this message from the Programme Management Unit of DG Justice, European Commission: “Following the evaluation of eligible proposals submitted under the 2013 Fundamental Rights and Citizenship call for proposals for action grants, we are pleased to inform you that your project ‘Local Welcome Policies: EU Migrants’ has been selected for cofunding by the European Commission.” The Gothenburg Migration Research Group can look forward to two years of working with the cities of Amsterdam, Brussels, Copenhagen, Dublin, Gothenburg and Hamburg to analyze and support efforts to integrate CEE migrants. A good way to start back to work, I say! :-)
