And now your late night post... Fans, first off, I must say that the Kraken is most impressive. You have caught the attention of Southwest Airlines which is no mean feat. We have no resolution, but we will get these folks to Talladega. Now, lets talk about dogs. Lets all say hello to Celine and Clara. I have no definite statement as to their ancestry. Celine and Clara are a 2 year old and a 7 month old, respectively. They weigh around 45 pounds, so we can rule out Catahoula. I am going with lab border collie for Celine, the Mom, and border collie lab greyhound for daughter Clara. Feel free to add your two cents. Celine and Clara are in rescue because their owner went to jail. This served as a cautionary lesson for me today because I was nearly willing to stab a lawyer with a rusty salted fork today, but I stopped not because stabbing evil lawyers is necessarily wrong, but because I would go to jail and my dogs could end up in need of rescue. I look forward to the day when the defense some folks needed stabbing is not frowned upon in legal circles automatically. Celine and Clara are very nice dogs. They were excited to be reunited, and while they do not have to go together, they make an interesting pair and they are certainly happier together than apart. They are fine with other dogs, they are no trouble in the home other than ordinary dog troubles (pleading looks for biscuits, etc), and they are sweet and gentle souls. They are a tad bewildered about how they lost their home and we had to tell them that their Dad was not coming back. Im not sure they understood, but they were willing to listen to me tell them sweet things while feeding them freeze-dried duck breasts. These two dogs will make someone a fantastic dog. I would suggest that a fenced yard is probably in their best interest and a home without screechy tiny children (loud shouts scared them a bit, thus ruling out homes located next door to firing ranges as well). Celine and Clara are available from VA to CT and parts reasonably nearby. Interested fosters or would be adopters should fill out an application at bigfluffydogs (click on Online Application for would be adopters and Fostering FAQS for potential fosters).
