And on my third day... I finally caved in and went to Starbucks - TopicsExpress

And on my third day... I finally caved in and went to Starbucks for my daily dose of Venti Skinny Vanilla Iced Latte. (Dont judge) Chantel Richter-Voss, you understand... On my way to the beach (the two block walk) I came across some very proud fishermen who were showing off their newly caught Dorado. I cant even imagine how long it must have taken them to real that guy in! I found a great spot on a lounge chair under an umbrella where I spent the rest of my afternoon reading and swimming. Ahhhh, heaven! I had so much fun watching the kids play and jump off the rocks. I also had the opportunity to watch a European woman practicing some very unique Yoga moves on the beach. She stood in ragdoll pose for at least 4 minutes right in the middle of the action. Hmmm... I then joined my neighbor, Chad, for fish tacos and iced tea on the marina while enjoying the sounds of some great throw-back early 90s music. I went back to my place to just relax for a few hours - because thats what I felt like doing, so I did it. The art of doing nothing without guilt or anxiety is challenging to perfect, but I am certainly working on it. Once I was good and rested up, I took an evening stroll through town to do some people watching. So interesting to watch the scene NOT being one of the crazy drunk tourists. Pretty enlightening... :) Had a nightcap of two amazing marlin tacos and headed back to turn in. I had turned off the A/C earlier in the evening to see if I could get used to the heat and save the energy/electricity. It was pretty toasty for sleeping temperature, so I attempted to turn it back on. Well, for some reason I couldnt figure out how to get it back on, so I opened the patio door, turned on the fan and gave it a whirl. I actually slept wonderfully! Im going to do my best to keep the A/C down and get used to living in this heat. As I drink another Starbucks latte (I know, I know...) Im again reflecting on the doubt I felt the few days before I left for Cabo. As I have learned over the past 9 months, always trust your gut. In May, my gut told me that Cabo is where I should be and I trusted and followed that intuition. Once I made up my mind to do so, everything fell into place so easily. The moment I arrived here, such a feeling of peace and tranquility took over me. Im so thankful that I listened to my heart and not the voice of reason from my brain saying, What?? You cant quit your great job, sell your things, break your lease, and move to Mexico!! Are you crazy?? I now know that I would have been crazy NOT to! I will be starting a blog as soon as I can think of a good domain name for my site. I will let you all know when I get it set up, as I will be doing my updates from there. If anyone has ideas for a site name, let me know!
