And on we go to the next one.... :) A messy mix of Snow, Rain & Gusty Winds is set for the Island, Friday night and into Saturday morning. Behind the cold front, temperatures drop again with a mix back to snow & snow squalls. More details below... FRIDAY NIGHT- MESSY MIX ON THE WAY Friday afternoon & into evening well see Snow building into Southeastern Labrador, Western Newfoundland and Central Newfoundland. Its all Snow, but a quick shot for Labrador and the Northern Peninsula with amounts in the 5-10 cm range. For Corner Brook & the Western parts of the Island a quick shot of Snow will quickly change to Rain as Southerly winds gusting 80-100 km/h will push temperatures above zero overnight. For the Eastern and Southeastern Newfoundland were looking at mainly or all rain on menu for Friday night and into early Saturday morning as Southerly winds gusting 80-100+ km/h funnel through ahead of the cold front. SATURDAY- COLD & SNOW RETURNS Behind the front, its another temperature drop from West to East across the Island late overnight Friday and through Saturday morning, with a change back to flurries and Snow Squalls will setting up along the West Coast, continuing Saturday night and Sunday. It looks like Southeastern Newfoundland including the Avalon & Metro could see a quick shot of 2-5+ cm of Snow fall on the other side the front, as it moves through on Saturday, before clearing late day. More details and updates to come on Friday. Have a great night! Ryan #nlwx
