And once again, the adventures are going to begin. After a - TopicsExpress

And once again, the adventures are going to begin. After a month and a half of cooling my heels in Kerala, I set off on a two month sojourn tomorrow. The journey begins in the wild jungles of Meghalaya where we will be trekking and hiking and playing in waterfalls and crawling in caves. Then cross the border into Assam to say hello to rhinos and gallivant across the hills of Arunachal. Then, since plans should never follow a logical route, will take a complete reverse turn on the world map, and fly to Bali and the Gili Islands. Going to dive in Indonesia and will hopefully get to see some small sharks and mantas, besides a thousand fish. Once my group leaves back to India, have marked a small island for a solo trip for myself in the easternmost corner of Java - Banyuwangi - which has some stunning volcanic scenery and a lake whos sulphur deposits give it a surreal magic like different colour. And if I can, might also hitchhike and jump ferries to East Timor - a country no one really visits. A week later, during Christmas, I head to Vietnam and Cambodia to conduct my last group trip of the year and shall usher the new year there with twelve mad boys and girls. Cruising on a luxury boat in Halong Bay, crawling in war tunnels, cycling to Angkor Wat, there is so much South East Asia has to offer. It has been an incredible last one year. Home, India, doston and kamine doston, I shall see you once I am back in January. Till then follow the adventures here, on garam-samose.blogspot.in and This Guys On His Own Trip.
