And one day my soul just opened up...Im on some like Tupac stuff tonight. I wish everyday I could be this honest. In fact, I wish we lived in a world where everyone felt like they could all be honest and we could all co-exist in a world where people dont judge each other, and actually do bare with one anothers faults in love. After all, we all have them, plus that is what the bible teaches us to do. So why then cant we let go? Why cant we tell the truth? Why cant we be free? Ive committed more sins in my life than that of grains of sand could fill a 5 gallon bucket. Shocking. (sarcastically said) If you think about it, you have too. When I look at my life and it didnt turn out quite like Id hope the accuser taunts me saying because of your sins, you are punished. In relief, Im reminded of my favorite bible story of a women who was judged almost to death. She was a town whore. She made her money to feed her family by selling her body. She was fetching water a a well one day and Jesus met her there. She told him of her sins. When the law found out about her sins she was drug to the town hall to be stoned to death, alive. Imagine that. (Again a bible story) The towns people anxiously threw stones, rocks at this women. Pow! Snap! Pop! Blood flowing down her brow as she was in pain. Agony. What was her story? Why did she succumb to to sell her body? No one ask, they just laughed, gossiped, thru rocks. Pow! Did she have children to feed? Was she abused before? Was she desperate? With each blow to the her skin as it broke open, bleeding, she wept. She felt shame. Tortured by her sin. But then something happened Jesus walked up. The roaring crowd silenced. He looks at the women. He imagines her pain, he knows every single thing she endured to lead her to sale her body. He looks at the crowd, a mam who made blind eyes see. I ask simply, Who of you is without sin? As they turn their judgement internally. As they began to look.at their own sins and faults he also says, Who of you who is without sin cast the next stone at this women. (Silence) (cries) (gasp) One by one each person drop their stones and walk away. This is the world our loving God created. This is the world I want to live in...
