And so ends another semester and the second year in my life as a grad student. It was hard, damn hard. At least for one subject, I didnt know what was happening more than half of the time. I just wish the effort was enough. The hardships notwithstanding, I fathom that I was able to learn the most this semester and that I am more confident in myself and my knowledge as an aspiring Economist and scholar. Keep posted as my colleagues and I are setting things in motion that will hopefully have a positive impact on our development as a nation. Finally, the extended vacation is a welcome development, even though it has implications on how early (or late) I can finish the entire program. Still, rest is rest and Im sure were all going to do better because of it. Happy summer vacation everyone! (dry season is actually more accurate, but at this point who cares?)
