And so it begins... Another chapter in our band The Freeze Pops. Ive been playing now with Tom George since 1991. Yup. Almost 25 years. Peter McGlynn since 1998, and beat friends since 6th grade. Though weve had our ups and downs over the years I wouldnt have had it any other way. To our first guitar player Nate DesRosiers in 1998 to 1999, Mark DeLorme from 2000 to 2007, and Gary Faria from 2008 to 2014. I personally would like to thank all of you for a great ride. Tonight is Garys last show with us at the Blessed Feast of the Sacrement Portuguese Feast in New Bedford; and Mark takes over the reigns of lead guitarist once again starting permanently Saturday night as we perform at Bell In Hand just outside of Faneuil Hall. Be on the lookout for a few more changes coming up. Again, thank you guys for everything, the laughs, the parties, the memories. Cant wait to write the next chapter... Im sure Gary wont be too far away.... And welcome back Mark! As long as I still have friends that need to be entertained and forget about life for awhile Ill be there to help you all sing dance and raise a toast for life. Cheers to you and thanks to my brothers in The Freeze Pops. Now they can bust my balls for being sappy. Lol
