And so it begins again. This is the story of 4 little babies accidentally discovered during a mission to follow up on a diagnosis of severe distemper on a 7 month old pup that was living on my gang. After the vet explained to the owners wife about the severity of the case & offered solutions, the poor pup was simply relocated in the night to the owners own premises & given brown sugar water & was chained to the back of the property in the heat & left to die. After much convincing, the pup was signed over to me to which she was immediately treated appropriately. In the course of this, these 4 babies were also outside with minimal shade & no water in a rather small cage. They have been in isolation at Sunset Vet with the threat of distemper looming over them however the great news is - theyve been cleared 😀 On Friday of this week they will be allowed to go upstairs, after they receive their 2nd vaccinations. These babies are awfully skinny but very happy & playful. Having lived in a cage altogether for most of their lives, when there is a moment of freedom, theyre hyperactive. Understandable right? From Friday onwards, if anyone could please find it in their hearts to just foster any of these babies to help them develop & prepare for adoption days & furever homes, please leave a message here for me. If you cannot afford food but can offer compassion, kindness & assist with their development, I am more than happy to supply food for them.
