And so it is that we live in such a time wherein doubts and hopelessness abound. Many look, with great uncertainty, toward the perplexities of unfolding world events. Confusion, dismay, chaos, violence..monplace in each day throughout the globe, are not new. But the means by which they come are new and crafty. Big things often begin small; at least they seem small when the greater picture is not clear from the onset. Look at what surrounds you, compasses you about! Disease, famine, wars, conflicts, disasters and the like have been around for all of recorded time. But the frequency and severity are particular to our time. Fanatical groups are not new, either. But their means and methods have changed to suit the times as they are equipped. Evil and hatred are evolving, developing at unprecedented rates with exponential growth. One will clear the way, facilitating the demise of another. Moral and ethical decay is the pavement of collapse, the avenue of wickedness and the road toward apostasy.
