And so its Christmas and the celebrating begins.... for most. But there is something I want to say to all of you. During the holidays, everyone seems to be joyous and loving, but sometimes that is the only time of year so many people act that way toward others, including our loved ones. Please let the kindness and love continue throughout the year. I hear people complain about their spouses, partners, parents, children, friends, etc. I hear complaints about how someones spouse or partner leaves bread crumbs on the counter after making a sandwich. I hear someone complain about their kids not picking up their toys, or they complain about how they cant keep the house clean because there are fingerprints on the glass and walls..... And have you stopped to think that YOU are not perfect either, and that there are things that YOU do that irritate someone? Stop complaining. BE GRATEFUL!! All those things, the bread crumbs on the counter, the toothpaste in the sink, the fingerprints everywhere.... They mean you have someone in your life! You have someone to love, and they love you. Not everyone has someone. There are people who would gladly and quietly deal with all the little things just to have someone to love and share their days. So when you exchange your gifts and share your Christmas meal over the next few days, take a good look at those with you. Why do the good times and feelings have to end? Make every day feel like Christmas.
