And so once again the time has come to inflict my sufferings and elations on the good people of England. Our headline today Is we said an emotional fair-well to George as he returns to the UK, hes not on a Malaysia air plane so you can have him back in a couple of days. We ventured from Cambodia, the land of boozy temples, to Vietnam, via bus and arrived in Ho Chi Minh, a hustling mega metropolis. From here we went to Nah trang, and absolute Russian shit hole. Everybody here was both Russian and drunk, and I contracted my second illness of the trip.... Here we go again. I spent 6 days in bed, starting initially with high pressure vomiting, and then followed with dysentery. After day 4 of this horrific affliction my faeces contained a noticeable amount of blood and mucus. The smell was intolerable. I couldnt eat, for the lower abdominal cramps, resulting in me slowly loosing the plot a bit, and you can now count every one of my ribs. Im not ashamed to admit, I did well up a little. I self diagnosed and took some antibiotics and have now returned to normal health. My position within the group was temporarily replaced by Adam , but after mutual agreement was granted wolf pack status, and now makes the 5th member of the group. Simon was unfortunate enough to have his wallet stolen, dont ask him how, and got violated by 3 middle aged women on a moped, teary eyed, me and George managed to console him. We watched a beautiful sunrise on the beach and went to Hoi An, up north, to have some suits and shoes tailored. We played a heated game of street football on a urban sand pitch, and got pooned by some 11 year olds. The quality of the suits is excellent and this is definitely one of my favourite places Ive discovered on my voyage of cultural enlightenment. We will remain here for two days before me and Simon head back to Australia to meet Tristan and complete the loop by driving from Perth to Darwin. For now, peace out, stay tuned.
