I’ll continue to update too so you know what’s happening, from time to time. She has her scan to see what the chemo is doing in a couple of weeks for example, so I’ll update about that. On a personal note, this amazing outcome, which has taken only four short months, has totally changed my view of the world and humankind’s place in it. The grinding despair and terror I felt when I first set the fundraiser up soon turned to hope, then astonishment and then joy once I realised that our little girl would have a chance. Realistically we are the only animal able to “help”. Many of us believe (and indeed I did) that humanity is like a virus, taking everything and caring only about itself. I have now come to realise that, even though such examples do exist (and these often seem to be in positions of power and authority), the majority of us do really care and WILL HELP! For this, too, I owe you all the thanks in the world. My eyes have been opened to the innate goodness of people. Cloudy reaches her 6th birthday on July 4th. This will be a real cause for celebration because without you she would not have done so. You have saved her life. So, for the final time… but forever… thank you all. Paul and Linzi.
