It is western cultures celebration of the day of the dead. So create an altar this day for those who you wish to remember, talk to, seek advice from... place a picture with some flowers and a candle by their side, and as the sun sets this evening light the candle and let it burn all night if you can, and find some quiet time to call them in to you and open your hearts and create the dialogue that you have long waited to speak. Ask for forgiveness, or their help from the spirit world, or just share memories with them that are long held in your heart. The dead are not to be feared, their spirits are just energy taken another form. You will join them in this way at some point too, there is nothing surer.
